Responsibilities

An Ohio-based EV products and services company supporting clients across the US is looking for a Territory Manager.  They support the commercial EV needs of Ohio customers in a wide variety of industries, including multifamily housing, offices, retail, development, corporation, hotel/hospitality, healthcare, universities, public parking, and government. Some of these clients include Wright Patterson Air Force Base, CBRE, Facility Source, NCH, Leading EDJE, The Country Club of Muirfield, Peak 10 Group, City of Dayton, Simms Management Group and The Ohio State University.

Their partner is recognized as the #1 provider of EVSE for multifamily housing and commercial workplaces in the US, boasting the highest concentration of EVSE per tenant. Together they provide optional services such as street light tie-in, credit card/meter charging, and public access planning services to mitigate cost and increase safety. The partner was responsible for deploying 1,200 stations in 12 major metropolitan areas on a turn-key basis as part of the VW mitigation settlement fund to support multifamily and workplace—the largest ever deployment of EVSE in the US.

Job Overview-
Territory Managers will lead  efforts to promote sales of all company's products and services; assist in the development and nurturing of our distribution strategies; identify & investigate opportunities within the commercial business community for business development. Work with the Sales team to meet company and their partners overall sales goals. This role is the foundation of their customer experience and will be strategic in nature with its efforts to build their brand in the marketplace.

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities-
• Develop relationships with key decision makers in identified markets and geography to promote company's products and services.
• Work closely with aligned partners to develop new business opportunities.
• Develop sales, promote, and implement key business development programs and event initiatives to promote company.
• Develop and nurture strong trust and relationships with key influencers at target customers.
• Quickly identify project opportunities, develop sales strategy, engage required support both internal and with our partners and establish relationship management of the opportunity.
• Market company's products and services with the following types of activities: multi-level relationship building, product introductions; customer presentations; relationship building lunches, dinners, and attendance in other relevant commercial business/utility services/real estate networking activities.
• Drive sales by providing expert product knowledge, customer service & problem solving.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education-
• 3 to 5 years proven track record in sales of similar industry and customer focused experience.
• Self-motivated, self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable with technology
• Strong computer skills and experience including MS Office
• Excellent communication skills required, both verbal and written
• Excellent presentation skills required
• Bachelor's degree a minimum requirement.
